Jeremy Proulx is excited to join StudySpot to bring academic coaching support to the Ann Arbor area.  Jeremy is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University where he teaches introductory and general education classes in philosophy, logic and reasoning, ethics, and academic writing. While pursuing his graduate training in philosophy, Jeremy also spent several summers as an Instructor at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth, teaching formal logic and reasoning skills to middle- and high-school aged children.

While Jeremy knows first-hand the kinds of skills students need in order to be successful in post-secondary education, he also knows that school systems are under increasing pressure to do more with less. Academic coaching is an ideal way to supplement the school curriculum since it provides students with the skills to become productive and successful students.

“What spoke to me about StudySpot,” Jeremy says, “is the back-to-basics approach to academic coaching.” In a world where we increasingly rely on technology to maximise our efficiency, we tend to forget that building good study habits and learning some basic organizational skills is the bedrock of professional and academic success. This is the precise focus of a service like StudySpot and Jeremy is excited to be able to bring this to the Windsor area.

StudySpot Ann Arbor currently offers one-on-one sessions as well as group workshops, both in person and online. Please contact Jeremy to book a free consultation.

  • Thank you very much for providing such a very helpful facility for my daughter. She has benefited so much from the program, not only for her present situation but I think for life. Your coaches were excellent and they gave her the motivation, guidance, self-confidence and self-esteem that she lacked.
